Fee Structure

• Inspection services start at $45/hour with 1 hour minimum of on-site time billed per day. On-site time includes time physically on-site conducting inspections, completing forms, compiling the inspection report, and reviewing/updating drawings and documents pertinent to the inspection. No more than 30 minutes of on-site time will be billed for time compiling the inspection report. Time driving to and from the inspection location is considered incidental and is not billed. On-site time is billed in quarter hour increments.

• Construction management services (soon to be offered) start at $60/hour with 1 hour minimum dedicated time billed per day. Dedicated time includes all time (on-site and off-site) dedicated to the production and delivery of the construction management services being provided. Communication requiring less than 15 minutes of dedicated time will be considered incidental. Time driving to and from dedicated time obligations will be considered incidental. Time spent in meetings on-site or off-site with stakeholders will be considered incidental unless co-occurring with other dedicated time tasks (like onsite RPR presence co-occurring with on-site meeting). Dedicated time is billed in quarter hour increments.

• $0.70/mile will be billed for all mileage. Mileage is calculated using the most time efficient route indicated by Google Maps application. The starting location is the relative starting location before any given trip for business service purposes. The end location is the address associated with the end location site or facility or the coordinates at center of where the site’s main entrance is located if no address is available. The billed mileage will not exceed the distance from Benson Inspection LLC’s location in Lewistown, PA to the end location in the event the starting location is a greater distance (like leaving an unrelated project to the project having mileage billed). Mileage is rounded to the nearest whole mile.

• A $145/night lodging fee will be billed for services requiring 4 or more vehicle travel hours from Benson Inspection LLC’s location in Lewistown, PA.
